Prada offered it’s typical sleek “girl about town” aesthetic with a twist this FW. Transitioning the neon trend of SS19, the brand teamed streamlined leisurewear aesthetic with bold colour detailing and head to toe day-glow assembled with delicate black net overlays to create a fresh and edgy take on the trend.
On the other hand, Valentino took a very different direction with their neons. Taking inspiration from 70’s disco, Valentino’s AW19 collection was filled with flowing disco gowns in vibrant pinks, oranges, and much more. This colour palette was also carried through tailored overcoats to create a much more structured look.
Let’s face it, we all love some colourful resort wear, and Chromat didn’t disappoint. Featuring models of all different body shapes, ages, and ethnicities - Chromat put on a truly diverse show for their FW presentation. Featuring colour block swimwear, neon mesh overlays, and cut out detailing - Chromat shows us how to channel the neon trend right at the poolside!
